SIMPLE is a transparent plant pot that invites the user to observe growth from root to leaf. Made from clear resin and filled with LECA instead of traditional soil, it reveals the hidden half of your plant’s life, turning what’s usually buried into something worth looking at.

Designed as part of a trio, the SIMPLE shares a quiet visual language with its siblings: angled geometry, balanced proportions, and a focus on form through material. It’s a shift in perspective; a plant pot that asks you to look a little closer.

The Thinking Behind the Design.

SIMPLE began as a sketch-driven exploration into how a transparent plant pot could invite curiosity below the surface. Through drawing, a shared design language emerged and allowed for a series to be created. Mockups in cardboard helped test proportions and refine form before moving into 3D modeling and printing.

As a personal project, the goal was to go beyond prototyping: casting the final pot in resin using a custom silicone mold brought SIMPLE to life, ready to hold both plant and roots in full view.
