The Simple plant pot series explores how transparency can reshape our relationship with indoor plants. Made from clear resin and filled with LECA rather than traditional soil, it reveals the hidden space where roots grow, turning the invisible half of a plant’s life into something you can observe every day. Designed as a trio, the pots share a calm, geometric language that focuses on form, proportion, and material clarity.
From Sketch to Proof of Concept.
The development of the Simple series began with sketches and quick cardboard models to explore proportion and form. These studies led to a single 3D-printed prototype of the smallest pot, created as a proof of concept to test the design at full scale. From this, the final piece was cast in clear resin, capturing the geometry and material behavior while revealing how transparency interacts with the form.
This iterative process established the foundation of the trio, balancing clarity, structure, and simplicity.
